It is the mission of the Winnebago Council, Boy Scouts of America to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

A Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent.
Vision Statement
The purpose of the Boy Scouts of America, incorporated on February 8, 1910, and chartered by Congress in 1916, is to provide an educational program for boys and young adults that builds character, trains in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and develops personal fitness.  The Boy Scouts of America is the only youth organization chartered by Congress as an educational program.
